I am a Runner
A very short while ago I connected with a facebook group called Canuck Running Bloggers (And those who love them) where I 'met' Crystal. She has a fabulous blog that shares here training and updates frequently, which I love! Every Thursday she has a "I am a Runner" post. Yes, I'm getting right down to the nitty gritty. You absolutely must download this song ASAP and add it to your running mix. Pretty please. :) It's basically been on repeat on my phone since I downloaded it after school yesterday. And for my run tonight. It's "Hey Brother," by Avicii. LOVE it!!!
Since I was so delirious following my second longest TM run on Sunday, I clearly forgot to post my week in training graph! :0 In case you were dying to see it that is.....lol.
A super duper easy recovery run following yesterday's long duration run. I ran 4 miles and nearly face-planted more than twice on slick streets. Good times.
Dinner! My dinner's look very similar every single night of the week by the way. That is unless I go all crazy and make tacos or pizza! ;)
Oh no big deal or anything, but there were some 800s on the agenda for today! Like try 5 of them!!!
I'm not nervous at all........Why do I have the feeling I'm being watched?????
I headed out for a 1.5 mile warm up and then started the show! ;)
Here's a breakdown:
3:21, 3:22, 3:31(dodging ice), 3:20 and 3:17. After my 2 mile cool down, I was zonked! Running home on wet noodle legs is always fun! ;)
And of course here's Lola post-run. No she did not do intervals with me.....lol.
Tim's has it's Roll up the Rim again. I'm' thinking this will be my year. ;)
My run tonight was an easy 4 mile run and I was sure to take it easy following the previous nights 800s!
The pace felt conservative and I had to be mindful of the black ice lurking in the shadows. Post run I did some core work and a plank. Then of course I indulged in a Chocolate and PB Smoothie. :) No pic since it tasted to awesome to wait!
