I know I know, the holidays are basically over, but to be fair it was pretty much a blur to me. Long story short I spent the first part of vacation couch bound with a fever, lots of cold meds, naps and lots of Netflix. Now I'm on the mend and back to running!
Before the great plague of Christmas 2018 hit we did our annual BLTR Christmas Marathon. A tradition where we run the marathon distance over the course of a week. We start the kick off run from Starbucks so that we can finish with hot eats and treats. We had a lot of fun!

Me sporting my new Goodr Holiday shades!
My view for nearly 5 days...
Marg delivered soup! I think that's what healed me. ;)
Matt and I gave each other New RACE MAPS! :D I did have enough energy to put them into the frames.
It was so nice to get back into running! Stacey and Marg have been amazing to join me for my return to running!
We hit up the trail before it got completely covered in snow and ice again. I'm so glad we did that.
Not only did I return to running, but when I got better my appetite also returned!!!!! This was great news. :D Erin and I headed out for some munchies after a movie and board nachos won me over!
Before I got sick, Marg joined me on a very soggy windy Saturday where it was 10 degrees for a road hammers workout. We were soaked but got in some great speed work. Christine did a cool down with us and the three of us looked like we went for a swim in the harbour.
Tomorrow the BLT Runners are doing a New Year's Eve run at the Coke Plant. There are two options: 3:30 or 6:30. I will definitely be there!
So how have your holidays been? I hope you avoided the Christmas flu bugs!
Thanks for stopping by!
