Muffin Recipe, Runner Problems & GIVEAWAY WINNER!!!!

Happy Monday Runner Peeps! ;)

How spectacular was your weekend??? Seriously, I'd love to hear!

It would just be plain rude of me not to share this scrumptious muffin recipe with you, wouldn't it? ;)

Muffin Recipe!
After Sam and I got home from our race kit pick up on Friday I decided to throw on my Betty Crocker hat. :D That could go either one of two ways just so you know, lol. I found an amazing muffin recipe on Amanda's awesome blog that sounded too good not to try out.

They were soooooo easy!!! I literally threw everything in the blender (except the chocolate chips), ***I added a ton of chia seeds too, sprayed the liners with Pam, mixed in the chocolate chips and baked. Seriously make them!
These were very moist and went nicely with coffee. ;)

#Runner Problems
You know we all have them and they range from realizing during the first mile of your long run that you forgot to clip your toenails to a debilitating injury that prevents you from running. :S

Well today I vocalized two of my current Runner Problems. First of all, when pulling laundry out of the dryer I realized that my blue sparkly Sweaty Band somehow found it's way in there! :( The worst part was that I couldn't even blame Matt! LOL.

Problem #2: Hashem told me that my new sneakers, which are currently in transit, are Pink. I love pink and I'm super psyched to see them, it's just that now I have to rethink my entire outfit for the Marathon! Gosh, having wide feet is basically #Runner Problem #3 for the day! ;)

GIVEAWAY WINNER!!!
Thank you thank you thank you to each and every one of you who entered the Runalicious Caption Contest & Giveaway!!!

We had a lot of awesome suggestions for the new t-shirt, but the one that stood out as a Runalicious Slogan was "The Road Is My Gym" submitted by Lee Anne! Congratulations!!! Girl Goes Running will keep in close contact with the Runalicious crew to check out photos of the printing process and they will be posted on the blog. :)  I can't wait to see the new print!

And as promised from yesterday here's a picture of what I found this morning:

Have a great day everyone and thanks for stopping by GGR!

What are some of your Runner Problems???
Are you an orchid fan?
Are you going to make those muffins??? LOL.....seriously, try them!

Happy Running,
Heather :)

  7. Yes. My toes are disgusting! And rethinking your whole outfit really is a problem! I can't wait to see the new shoes. Orchids are my favorite flower, but I can never seem to keep them alive. So beautiful!

  9. OMG, on my 12-miler the other weekend, all I could think was that my toenails were too long! I keep them SOO short, but somehow my sock snagged my big toenail and my toe was so sensitive at the end...but luckily it didn't fall off!
